Kale, Spinach and Avocado Green Smoothie
Spinach and kale are very popular ingredients for green smoothies because of their strong nutritional benefits but also because of their good taste.
When you combine these two together and mix it up with fresh fruit, chances are you will end up with a great looking and very nutritious green smoothie.
To make it even more nutritious, add a bit of avocado to get that delicious creamy texture.
With kale, spinach and avocado as the ingredients, your green smoothie couldn’t be any greener. This makes approximately 1 liter to 1.5 liters so share with your friends!
- 40 grams (or 1 cup) kale
- 40 grams baby spinach
- 1/2 avocado
- 8 strawberries (optional)
- 2 cups diced watermelon
- 2 bananas
- water + ice cubes
This green smoothie has a great balance between greens and fruits, giving it a very fresh and neutral taste. Drink it in the morning as a healthy wake-up drink or in the afternoon to fight that 2pm energy crash.
You can add as much water and ice cubes as you wish, depending on how thick you would like your smoothie to be.
You can also add some flax seeds or chia seeds to make this smoothie even more nutritious. Add a bit of lemon if you would like a somewhat sharper taste.
