Sunrise Green Smoothie Recipe

With a mix of fresh fruit and thick Greek yogurt, this sunrise green smoothie will be the best way to start your day.

You certainly won’t need a coffee to wake you up in the morning after drinking this delicious and nutritious smoothie!

Ingredients

This simple smoothie is very easy to prepare but really packs a punch.

Feel free to experiment with the amounts of the different ingredients as taste is always a personal thing.

Sunrise Green Smoothie:
 
  • 2 Bananas
  • 1 Orange
  • 1 Large cup of frozen mixed berries
  • 1 Large cup of Greek yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 1 Cup of water

The amount of water you put in depends on your own taste buds. If you like it thick and creamy, 1 small cup of water should be enough.

If you add more water, you get more drink for your buck though!

Servings: 2 people
Ingredients
  • 2 Bananas
  • 1 Orange
  • 1 large cup Frozen mixed berries
  • 1 large cup Green yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Ice cubes
Instructions
  1. Add all the ingredients in the blender in this order: banana, orange, mixed berries, yogurt, water and ice cubes.

  2. Blend at high speed for 30 seconds, followed by 30 seconds at low speed. Ready to serve!
